In the most recent messagefrom the Obama campaign, they describe the campaigns they are fighting in the battleground states and the costs associated with the campaigns.

With respect to Florida, they reported that in the last election 400,000 registered African American voters did not turn out, and 900,000 registered young voters did not turn out.  Bush won Florida by about 300,000 votes.  If those 1.4 million voters had voted, they could have won Florida for the Democrats in 2004.

Those same 1.4 million voters – along with all the currently unregistered voters – can win Florida for Obama this election.  And voters just like them in the other battleground states can win those states for Obama on November 4th.

People of Florida and all the battleground states:  If you haven’t registered yet, Register!  If you are registered, bravo!  Make sure to vote on November 4!!
